Hi everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying your
summer! J
For those of you that already
have a place with us Congratulations! If you have completed your online
registration, you can just relax and enjoy the remaining days before term
starts. You can find more information regarding your first week of term from here:
http://www2.gre.ac.uk/students/new/startdates.
If you will be living in halls of
residence get ready for the moving in weekend which would be the Saturday 14th
September – Sunday 15th September. If you would be arriving outside
office hours 10am-5pm you will need to contact the accommodation office
(contact details from here: http://www2.gre.ac.uk/contact)
to make sure that a Resident Assistant would be available to let you in your
room and get their phone number.
During your first few weeks of
University you will have the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and our
Student Union have prepared a lot of events for you to attend to assist you in
the process of making the most out of your time here. You will be able to join
clubs and societies during the Freshers Fair, attend events during Fresher’s
Week and also go to the Fresher’s Ball. More information on those events you
can find from here: http://www.suug.co.uk/
For those of you that are still
looking for a place to study we are still taking clearing applications for some
of our undergraduate courses. You are welcome to contact us with your UCAS id
and we will see what we can do for you.
Good luck to you all!
Regards,
Victor J
